Nice to meet you. I’m Andrew James, founder of Andrew James Consulting LLC. My professional background is built on decades of leadership, investigation, public safety, and operational decision-making in Southern California. I served a long career with the California Highway Patrol, retiring as a Commander/Captain, where I developed deep experience in law enforcement policies and procedures, emergency response, traffic and collision protocols, incident command, personnel matters, and public safety standards. I have also worked in the private sector as a Health, Safety, Environment, and Security professional in the oil and gas industry, supporting high-risk operations, emergency mitigation, accident investigations, safety program development, and zero-incident performance across demanding worksites.

Today, my focus is helping attorneys, businesses, and private organizations understand complex safety, security, and law enforcement issues with clarity and credibility. Through Andrew James Consulting LLC, I provide expert witness support, case review, consulting, policy evaluation, incident analysis, workplace safety guidance, and practical risk-management insight. My approach is grounded in real-world experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to objective, defensible opinions.
